10 Things I'm Currently Loving

In which I want to gush about all of my current favs.

Is this normally a cooking blog? Yes. That being said, a girl needs to talk to her friends about her current obsessions, and since you all are my friends, this feels like a great opportunity. With no further ado, I present in no particular order, my top 10 current favorite things.

My Mini Bedroom Makeover!

When we first moved into our house three years ago, I was tired of looking at blank walls in our

bedroom and just threw up some random things that we'd had in our apartment. The room always felt bland and unfinished. Over the last year, I've slowly been collecting secondhand items and DIYing, and recently I finally put the last puzzle piece into place in the form of a large scale gallery wall. There's still a few things I want to add like a large fake plant and a new dresser to replace the one I've literally had since 8th grade, but I'm absolutely in love with the space. It's so warm and inviting and my friend Allyssa said she'd stay there if it were an Air BnB and I will take that as a huge compliment!

Instant Pot Pro

My parents got me an Instant Pot Pro for Christmas and I am officially an Instant Pot convert. I have waffled back and forth for years about whether to get one because I hardly use my slow cooker as it is. Well let me tell you, when I cooked a pot roast in under an hour, I was absolutely sold. I now get why these are so popular and needless to say, my old crockpot is getting donated.

Swiss Chard Scarf

I've been experimenting with adding fun silky scarves as accessories over the past year. My husband, Justin, got me the absolute CUTEST Swiss chard scarf for Christmas that I want to wear everyday. I fear I may need every pattern now.

Owala Free Sip Water Bottle

Similar to the Insta Pot, I thought the Owala Free Sip water bottle was just another water bottle that I didn't need because I have so many others, including my Stanley, that lives exclusively at my desk at work. Oh how I was wrong though... the Owala is a perfect water bottle and is in fact the only thing I want to drink out of now.

Aquafor

It's winter and while I use Aquafor all year, it is currently my best friend.

Animal Crossing

The 3.0 update just recently came out for New Horizons and I've been having so much fun falling in love with my favorite game all over again. Plus, for double the fun, my husband got me New Leaf for my 2DS for Christmas and it's been so interesting seeing how the game has evolved over the years.

Cholula Chili Garlic Hot Sauce

We recently picked this up at the store on a whim and damn that is some good hot sauce! So far my favorite application is on a soft scrambled egg with some sourdough toast.

Pears!

That's it- I just remembered how delicious they are.

Honey Pearl Grapes

Honey Pearl Grapes are back at the store and I am THRILLED. I've only ever found them at Trader Joe's during certain times of the year, but oh my god they are the best grapes ever. They're small and perfectly round and taste like honey and citrus. Perfect for a cheese board or on their own.

TV Shows

I've been on a TV show kick recently. Just finished Heated Rivalry, need I say more? My husband and I have also been making our way through The Legend of Vox Machina and it's such a fun show. The engaging stories, hilarious jokes, and animation that reminds me of Avatar the Last Airbender makes it incredibly bingeable. And finally, yes I will be watching Bridgerton Season 4 along with everyone else this weekend because duh.
